French Montana Accused of Ripping Off Lyrics in ‘Handstand’ …Threatened with Lawsuit

A legal dispute is emerging as rapper French Montana faces allegations of copying lyrics from a 1999 Hot Boys track in his song “Handstand.” Rapper Turk claims portions of the lyrics were used without permission and has issued a demand letter seeking resolution before pursuing legal action.

Attorney Paul Aloise, representing Turk, is seeking to resolve the matter outside of court as both sides work toward addressing the dispute over the alleged use of the lyrics.
