Teel wrongful death suit against Sheriff’s office, deputy now set for July

The wrongful death lawsuit filed by Dr. Dudley Teel against the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Jonathan Lozada is now set for trial in July, marking a significant step forward in the case. The trial has been selected as part of a federal “pilot” program aimed at resuming jury trials following pandemic-related delays.
