Judge Temporarily Lifts TFA Postseason Ban

A judge has temporarily lifted The First Academy’s postseason football ban, allowing the team a chance to compete as the case moves forward. The decision came just hours before playoff brackets were set to be released, prompting the FHSAA to delay announcing the Class 1A, Region 2 bracket.

Attorney Paul Aloise, representing the TFA players, filed the emergency injunction that led to the ruling. A hearing is scheduled to determine whether the injunction will remain in place.
