Supreme court declines to review Teel case; new trial date awaited

A wrongful death case involving the fatal shooting of Susan Teel is moving forward after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to review the matter. The decision sends the case back to federal court, where a new trial date is now being awaited following earlier delays.

Attorneys Guy Rubin and Todd Norbraten, representing Dr. Dudley Teel, continue to pursue the case after a prior dismissal was overturned on appeal. The lawsuit alleges civil rights violations and wrongful death in connection with the 2017 shooting, as both sides prepare for trial.
